Need help with sizing, styling or choosing the right rug?
This hand-knotted vintage Bakhtiari rug was selected for its durable thick wool construction, Khesti garden design, and authentic handmade character. Its sturdy texture and decorative layout give it a practical, long-lasting presence with rich colour and vintage charm.
The design features classic rectangular garden panels filled with individual trees, floral shrubs, and weeping willow motifs. Forest green, burnt orange, deep red, and ivory tones create a vibrant traditional palette, framed by an intricate geometric border. Measuring 115 x 180 cm, this rug is well suited to living rooms, study areas, bedrooms, entryways, or smaller sitting spaces.
Bakhtiari rugs are known for sturdy wool construction, nature-inspired motifs, and distinctive grid-style garden layouts. This vintage piece has been professionally cleaned and restored, making it ready to use while retaining the natural signs of wear that enhance its handmade character.
