Questions before you buy?
Need help with sizing, styling or choosing the right rug?
This hand-knotted vintage Hamadan rug was selected for its traditional village artistry, rustic charm, and timeless handmade character. Its compact size, warm colour palette, and detailed geometric patterning make it a refined accent piece for Australian interiors.
The design features an elongated hexagonal field in terracotta red and soft amber, filled with an all-over Herati-style lattice of floral rosettes and stylised leaves. Deep navy accents, ivory details, slate blue, and sage green tones add contrast, while a multi-layered border frames the composition. Measuring 70 x 140 cm, this rug is well suited to entryways, bedrooms, reading corners, home offices, or smaller living spaces.
Hamadan rugs are known for durable hand-spun wool, thick resilient pile, and expressive geometric artistry. This vintage piece has been professionally washed, cleaned, and restored, making it ready to use while preserving the natural imperfections that enhance its vintage feel.
