This hand-knotted vintage Hamadan runner was selected for its traditional nomadic artistry, rustic charm, and timeless handmade character. Its slim runner format, rich colour, and detailed tribal patterning make it a striking choice for Australian hallways and narrow spaces.
The design features a vibrant crimson-red field filled with an all-over geometric lattice of repeating diamond medallions and stylised botanical motifs. Deep navy patterns add strong definition across the narrow layout, framed by ivory and dark indigo borders with terracotta and sand accents for warmth. Measuring 63 x 192 cm, this runner is well suited to hallways, entryways, corridors, bedrooms, or compact living spaces.
Hamadan runners are known for durable hand-spun wool, soft thick pile, expressive tribal artistry, and rustic handmade character. This vintage piece has been professionally washed, cleaned, and restored, making it ready to use while preserving the natural imperfections that enhance its vintage feel.
