Need help with sizing, styling or choosing the right rug?
This hand-knotted vintage Turkmen rug was selected for its repeating tribal motifs, pure wool pile, natural dyes, and authentic handmade construction. Its ordered pattern, rich colour, and durable texture give it a strong decorative presence with timeless character.
The design features balanced rows of traditional octagonal gul medallions across a rich terracotta-red field. Cream, charcoal, and warm tan tones add contrast within the repeated tribal crests, creating a structured geometric layout with earthy warmth. Measuring 122 x 270 cm, this rug is well suited to wide corridors, hallways, larger living rooms, dining areas, or long transitional spaces.
Turkmen rugs are known for highly ordered tribal patterns, resilient wool, and strong handmade construction. This vintage piece has been professionally washed and restored, making it ready to use while preserving the small variations that enhance its vintage character.
