Need help with sizing, styling or choosing the right rug?
This hand-knotted vintage Baluchi runner was selected for its robust wool foundation, intricate geometric patterning, and exceptionally hard-wearing construction. Its wide runner format, dark colour palette, and handmade texture give it a strong decorative presence for larger hallways and entry spaces.
The design features a dark charcoal-black field with paired architectural motifs resembling stylised columns in deep rust, ochre, and chocolate brown. Zigzag chevrons, protective tribal symbols, and a continuous geometric star-pattern border add structure and movement throughout the piece. Measuring 118 x 270 cm, this runner is well suited to wide hallways, large entryways, corridors, or long transitional spaces.
Baluchi runners are known for dark, moody palettes, nomadic craftsmanship, and durable construction. This vintage runner has been professionally cleaned and restored, making it ready to use while preserving the minor variations that enhance its rustic handmade character.
